SBI Clerk Mains Admit Card 2025 Released: How to Download, Exam Dates, and Paper Pattern

Admit card now live: dates, access, and what it includes
The State Bank of India has activated the download link for the SBI Clerk Mains Admit Card 2025. The call letter went live on April 2, 2025, and the mains exam will be held on April 10 and 12 across test centers nationwide. Only candidates who qualified in the preliminary round for Junior Associate (Clerk) can access the hall ticket using their registration details on sbi.co.in.
The admit card is mandatory for entry. It carries your name, roll number, exam date and shift, test center address, reporting time, and exam-day instructions. Check every detail right away—spelling of your name, photograph, signature, and category—so you have time to raise a correction request if needed through the official help channels.
How to download your admit card:
- Go to the official SBI website and open the careers/Recruitment section.
- Find the Clerk (Junior Associate) mains call letter link.
- Log in with your registration number and password or date of birth.
- Verify the details shown on screen and download the PDF.
- Print a clear copy on A4 paper; keep an extra spare printout.
Pro tip: Download early. Test centers can be in a different part of your city—or even another district—so locking your travel plan a few days ahead helps. If the site is busy, retry after a short gap. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the “forgot” option on the login page to reset.
What to bring on exam day:
- Printed admit card (all pages, if it runs more than one).
- Original valid photo ID: Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving Licence.
- Two recent passport-size photos (carry as a backup if asked at the center).
- Blue/black ballpoint pen and essentials allowed by the instructions on the call letter.
What to avoid: electronic gadgets (phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices), study material, and metallic accessories. Follow the center’s security checks and biometric verification. Any mismatch between your ID and admit card can lead to denial of entry.

Exam day plan: pattern, documents, and tips
The mains exam is the decisive stage in SBI’s Clerk recruitment. There is no interview for Junior Associate. Final selection depends on mains performance followed by document verification and the Local Language Proficiency Test (where applicable).
As per the standard SBI Clerk mains pattern, the test is objective and section-wise timed:
- General/Financial Awareness: 50 questions, 35 minutes
- General English: 40 questions, 35 minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 45 minutes
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 questions, 45 minutes
Total questions: 190. Total time: 160 minutes. Expect negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer. SBI usually applies overall cut-offs; sectional cut-offs are typically not enforced in the clerk mains. The test interface locks each section after the allotted time, so pace yourself within each block.
Language and center rules: The test is offered in English and regional languages as notified for the state you applied to. You will be allotted the center printed on your call letter; requests for changes are not entertained. For candidates using a scribe, follow the detailed instructions on the admit card and carry the required declaration forms.
If there’s a discrepancy on your admit card—wrong category, blurred photo, or misprinted center—contact the official helpdesk promptly with your registration number, full name, and a screenshot of the error. Do not wait until the last day; centers cannot fix this on the spot.
Small checklist before you leave home:
- Admit card and original photo ID in your bag.
- Extra printout of the admit card and a spare photo.
- Know the exact gate/landmark for your center; buffer at least 45–60 minutes for traffic.
- Stick to the reporting time on the call letter; late entry is usually not allowed.
What happens after mains: SBI will publish the mains result on the careers portal. Provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification. If you have not studied the specified local language at the school level, you must clear the language proficiency test conducted by SBI for the state/UT you applied for. Appointment letters are issued only after these checks.
Bottom line: download the hall ticket early, read every instruction on it, and plan your test-day logistics now. A calm, well-timed entry into the center is the easiest mark you can secure in a high-stakes exam.
