Kolkata-based online talent recognition platform WhatsUrSkill has organized a logo design competition. It is India”s first logo design and redesign competition where winners will receive cash prize up to Rs. 2 lakh.

WhatsUrSkill is an online platform that promotes all kinds of talent, such as acting, photography, dancing, singing, graphic designing and others. It is about “Apka Hunar Apki Pehchan”.

In India, there is immense talent, but opportunities to showcase it are very limited. This is what led to the beginning of WhatsUrSkill. Its founders strongly believe that talented Indians are the future of the country, and ones skill can give one a unique identity if pursued with passion.

In today’s busy lives, participating in competitions by filling cumbersome forms becomes difficult. WhatsUrSkill has made all this very simple and hassle free, and at no cost.

The website recently organized a logo competition named ‘SWAGG‘. This competition will continue for two-months. It started on 20^th February, 2016 and will commence until 20^th April, this year.

For this competition, WhatsUrSkill.com has collaborated with 15 emerging startups and 5 NGOs. The participants will need to redesign their logos which will become the face of the organization in the future. The winners will be awarded cash prize up to Rs. 2 lakh and tablets from WACOM.com. Further, each participant will receive Rs. 350 from Ruprr.com.

Several graphic design students and professionals have taken part in this competition to show their design skills. There is no participation fee and all logos will be displayed on the website.

· Mr. Mangesh Bhayde: Creative Director (Art & Design) at BC WEB WISE Pvt Ltd

· Mr. Sheik Mohaideen – Innovator, Social Entrepreneur & Product Designer at ZOHO.

· Mr. Sachin Sanghe – Micro Sculpture Artist and Software Engineer @ CISCO Systems

Started 8 months ago, WhatsUrSkill.com has successfully completed various competitions like drawing, photography, selfie and others. WhatsUrSkill will be organizing many more such motivating events in April 2016. These include T-Shirt designing competition named as Dshirt, travel photo-blogging competition, Click India Photography Competition – Season 2 (CIP’16) and many other such competitions.
