CUTS International and MRSS India Ltd. Sign MoU

Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS International), a United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) observer and MRSS India Ltd., India’s first and only listed market research company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the market research vertical in India. The purpose of the MoU is to promote and strengthen cooperation in the area of MR business in India.

Talking about the MoU, Mr. Raj Sharma, Chairman, MRSS India Ltd. said, “CUTS International works very closely with the Government and consumers, and so does MRSS, thus making this alliance very synergistic in providing value to all the stakeholders.” He also added, “We expect this to significantly increase revenue in the global government and social sectors.”

The scope of the partnership will include:

  • Strategies for doing joint research in promoting better understanding on a variety of topics, including global trade and economic issues, competition, investment and regulatory policy issues at the state, national and international levels. The areas of work may include all subjects of social science research, including market research.
  • MRSS data collection expertise across Asia Pacific will complement CUTS (UNCTAD observer) research design experience.
  • Potential joint bidding for proposals.

“CUTS and MRSS are looking forward to have a long-term partnership to blend their cutting-edge work in areas of socio-economic development,” stated Bipul Chatterjee, Executive Director, CUTS (UNCTAD observer).
